On any given day, I can be found writing about anything from tabletop roleplaying games to satellite technology, editing other people's projects both short and long, teaching classes in literature and the personal essay, feeding our chickens, or chairing the local town council. I'm lucky: I live surrounded by natural beauty and a beautiful family on the California coast south of San Francisco, and on occasion get paid to do things like spend the night in a missile silo.
